One of the biggest problems the gThrive app needed to solve was making it easy for a farmer to setup and sync the hardware needed to feed data into the app. The architecture of the app need to account for several different scenarios where the user's needs would be different. We learned a lot during the creation of the app architecture diagram.
What we learned
Once we had a deeper understanding of different scenarios and user needs we were able to make more informed decisions about how the app interface and experience should be designed. We learned that there would be a need for an initial hardware setup where the app would be virtually unavailable until that was complete. We collaborated on different ways to make this setup as fast as possible. These discussions also informed us on how to make the hardware even easier to sync with the app.
